What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Assistant / General Laborer position at Imperial Construction?
Looking for a reliable construction assistant to support our crew on job sites. Experience is a plus, but it's not required. If you're hardworking, show up on time, and want to learn a trade, we'll teach you.
Tasks:
- Assist with demolition, tear-out, and site cleanup
- Haul and stage materials and tools
- Help with framing, drywall patching, flooring, painting, and finish work
- Support on interior and exterior projects
- Keep job sites safe, organized, and clean
- Learn to read scopes of work and follow project plans
Looking for:
- Strong work ethic and a willingness to learn
- Dependable and punctual
- Able to lift 50 lbs and work on your feet outdoors in all weather
- Comfortable working weekends occasionally
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Basic hand tools a plus, but not required
- Construction experience is a bonus, not a requirement
