The Supply Chain Analyst will be responsible for both strategic planning and tactical actions supporting the purchasing team.
Full-time Salary: Up to $60,000 per year bonus
Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
You will:
- Create & maintain reporting to review key customers for opportunities to improve fill rates and service levels
- Review for usage adjustments needed based on sales trend and update in S2K
- Review historical sales trends, promotional events, and projections with a key focus on avoidance of out-of-stock and overstock levels to support forecasts & communicate actionable suggestions to the Buying and Sales teams
- Coordinate and review regional customer on-boards for item set-up, buyer direction, and order tracking ahead of go-live; then follow through once live for forecast accuracy and dead stock monitoring
- Monitor and report on customer route moves from one warehouse to another warehouse; ensure usage is aligned with the changes and inventory stock levels are sufficient prior to go-live
- Plan key items on ladder plans and provide suggestions to buyers for reorders, transfers, etc.
- Identify dead stock and transfer opportunity; work with buyers and sales on disposition
You have:
- Strong communication skills: Speaks and writes clearly and effectively. Uses effective communication in order to initiate timely responses to inquiries.
- Strong organizational skills: Attention to detail, ability to multitask, prioritize, and have a sense of urgency to follow up on open issues and drive toward closure.
- Collaborative approach: Able to build effective relationships with our purchasing team and other business partners.
- Problem-solving skills: Able to think quickly and use logic to solve problems thoroughly and efficiently.
- Computer literacy: Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline preferred
- Inventory management or supply chain-related experience preferred
