Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment such as dump trucks, graders, bulldozers, and front loaders to assist in construction projects.
- Perform utility locating tasks to ensure safe excavation practices.
- Assist in building structures and performing site preparation tasks.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and according to specifications.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors promptly.
Experience
- Previous experience in heavy equipment operation is preferred, including but not limited to:
- Dump truck operation - Grader operation - Bulldozer operation - Caterpillar machinery - Loader operation - Backhoe operation * Familiarity with utility locating techniques is a plus.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy loads as required.
