Imperative Chemical Partners has an immediate opening for a Yard Hand in our Hobbs, NM location. SUMMARY: The Yard Hand is responsible for the organization and upkeep of the Hobbs facility. Housekeeping for our facility is of the upmost importance to ensure we follow all HSE standards. JOB DUTIES: Assist management with physical inventory countsOrganize inventory and reduce number of product containersPrepare inventory for shipment with proper containers, labels, placarding, lids, caps, etc.Prepare equipment (trucks, trailers, etc.) for transitDuring downtime perform additional pre and post trip inspections, which include simple minor repairs including tires, lights, brake cables, etc.Assist other operations personnel in loading and unloading of inventory on trucks and trailersAssist with blending operation when needed and as directedOrganize other tools, equipment that are needed at various timesGeneral housekeeping of warehouse, office, and yard, including picking up trash, broken pallets, and various disregarded items and dispose of them properlyMaintain property vegetation (cut down weeds)Other duties may be assigned This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. REQUIRED SKILLS, EDUCATION & KNOWLEDGE: High school diploma or GEDA minimum of one (1) year of experience working in a warehouse or production support (blending, loading) environment.Previous experience operating powered industrial equipment (i.e., forklift, pallet jacks, skid loaders, etc.)Medically qualified to wear a respiratorPhysically able to lift 60 pounds, climb stairs or a ladder, and agile enough to squat and bendTeam player with ability to perform physical workForklift operation certified (in house training required) Imperative Chemical Partners is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
