SUMMARY: The Regional Manager, Technical Services is the senior technical leader for the region, responsible for driving technical excellence, developing regional talent, and influencing outcomes across field operations, customer relationships, and cross-functional teams. Serving as the key liaison between Imperative and its customers, this role is the primary technical authority for the region, partnering closely with sales, operations, field personnel, R&D, and product development to deliver safe, effective, data-driven chemical treatment solutions. The Regional Manager leads regional technical support professionals, champions field surveys and product qualification efforts, and ensures consistent documentation, reporting, and technical excellence across assigned operations. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Training & Leadership Lead, coach, and develop in-basin regional technical support professionals to ensure consistent execution and technical capability.Lead efforts to develop technical training materials and conduct workshops, seminars, and field-based coaching for technical and operations personnel.Influence cross-functional operations teams by providing technical guidance, best practices, and practical field support. Field & Technical Support Lead and support on-site technical service activities for chemical applications in upstream and midstream oil and gas operations.Oversee field testing, sampling, monitoring, and performance evaluations for treatment programs.Lead field surveys and total system analyses to support program optimization and new business opportunities.Troubleshoot operational issues, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions, product adjustments, or program improvements.Manage the monitoring and optimization of chemical treatment programs to improve performance, reliability, and customer outcomes. Customer Interface & Relationship Management Serve as the primary regional technical point of contact for customers, addressing performance concerns and providing data-driven recommendations.Partner with sales, account management, and operations teams to strengthen customer relationships, improve service delivery, and support customer retention and growth.Prepare and present technical findings, performance reviews, survey results, and treatment recommendations during customer meetings. Product Testing & Development Oversee or participate in laboratory testing, field trials, and productqualification activities for new or reformulated products.Support defining customer success criteria and communicate field performance metrics that support product selection, validation, and improvement.Monitor market dynamics, customer needs, and field performance trends to inform product development priorities.Analyze technical data and prepare clear reports, conclusions, and recommendations for internal and customer audiences.Collaborate with R&D and product development teams to validate, improve, and commercialize chemical formulations. Technical Writing & Documentation Write technical recommendations and comprehensive survey summaries that include observations, testing methods, results, findings, conclusions, and next steps.Contribute to the development and improvement of standard operating procedures, manuals, best practice documents, and technical resources.Ensure technical documentation and reporting align with company requirements, customer expectations, and applicable industry standards. REQUIRED EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE: Education: Bachelors degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a related technical field required.Advanced degree preferred. Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in technical service, field engineering, production chemistry, or a related technical role within the oil and gas industry.Demonstrated experience leading, coaching, or managing technical professionals.Hands-on experience with chemical treatment programs, including corrosion inhibition, scale control, emulsion breaking, biocides, and related applications.Strong background in field operations, technical data analysis, customer engagement, and treatment program optimization. Skills, Competencies & Other Requirements: Excellent technical troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to engage directly with customers and cross-functional teams.Proficiency in technical writing, report preparation, data interpretation, and presentation development.Ability to lead, train, and influence field and technical teams effectively.Working knowledge of HSE standards, safe field practices, and applicable industry requirements.Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and data analysis tools such as Excel, Power BI, or similar platforms.Ability and willingness to travel to field sites, including remote or challenging operating environments.Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, quality, integrity, and customer satisfaction.Possess and maintain a valid drivers license and an acceptable driving record in accordance with Company policy.
