The Account Manager plays a pivotal role in collaborating with seasoned field personnel to devise and deliver customized chemical solutions, aimed at boosting productivity and fostering robust customer relationships. This position demands an extensive understanding of specialty chemical products used in oil and gas operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and participate in day-to-day operations to ensure timely chemical treatment of wells.
- Foster exceptional customer service by interacting with clients and other field personnel to address queries, resolve issues, gather operational data, and design or modify chemical treatment programs.
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of specialty chemical products, applications, oil and gas well equipment, and the impact of chemical treatment.
- Monitor inventory records for accuracy and timeliness.
- Resolve inventory discrepancies to support customer billing functions.
- Compile and present customer operational reports, including program recaps, operational costs, and failure analysis; represent the company in customer meetings or events.
- Maintain awareness of potential sales opportunities and coordinate with relevant personnel.
- Mentor junior associates and report progress to supervisors.
- Assist managers in completing operational reporting.
- Understand and comply with all DOT regulations applicable to this position.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
