*Job Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated Chiropractic Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in providing administrative and clinical support in a chiropractic setting.
*Duties*
- Greet patients at check-in
- Assist doctors with patient care and treatment procedures
- Perform clerical duties including typing, filing, computer entry, scheduling appointments, collection of copays/deductibles, maintaining patient records, confirming patient appointments, recall of missed or failed appointments
- Review documentation for accuracy and completeness
- Insurance verification
- Utilize medical coding and billing knowledge to process insurance claims
- Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare providers & insurance companies
- Conduct documentation review and maintain confidentiality of patient information
*Requirements*
- Proficiency in medical terminology
- Experience with medical coding, billing, and documentation review
- Strong clerical skills including 10 key typing
- Bilingual proficiency is a plus
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
