Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or another scientific field with some applicable laboratory experience
Preferred Skills And Qualifications
The preferred candidate will have the ability to follow established protocols for analysis and safety. This candidate will also be comfortable working with and around various chemicals and wearing the required PPE. HPLC analysis experience is a plus. Availability for overtime work on evenings and weekends to meet client workload demands is a must. The ability to troubleshoot and solve problems independently is beneficial along with the ability to work independently and in a team environment. The ideal candidate will be proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel. Willingness to cross-train in other laboratory departments, as needed, is optimal

Job Description – Analyst I
- Routine and complex sample preparation
- Analysis of simple and complex samples via high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC)
- Data entry, review, and interpretation
- Statistical analyses on quality control samples to assure compliance
- Lead QA investigations with anomalies in data
- Instrument/analytical problem solving and process improvement
- Perform routine maintenance on instrumentation
- Follow safety requirements including the appropriate use of safety glasses, gloves, and lab coats
- Adhere to company procedures and policies
- Ensure continuous growth through participation in the laboratory skills inventory
- Multi-task and prioritize workload
