Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.

Manage medication schedules and administer medication (as directed by a physician's order).

Prepare nutritious and delicious meals, ensuring dietary needs are met and catering to preferences.

Maintain a clean and comfortable living environment through light housekeeping tasks.

Offer companionship and become a trusted friend, engaging clients in conversation, activities, and hobbies they enjoy.

Be a source of emotional support and promote a sense of well-being.

Observe and report any changes in the client's condition, behavior, or environment to the care team.

Uphold the highest standards of care by adhering to all company policies and state regulations.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Prior caregiving experience, especially with seniors, is preferred.

CPR and First Aid certification (we can assist you in obtaining these if needed).

A compassionate and patient heart with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The ability to safely assist clients with mobility and transfers (lifting up to 50 lbs).

A reliable vehicle may be required for some errands or appointments.

Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Strong work ethic, dependability, and a commitment to providing exceptional care.
