Job SummaryReporting to the Director of Social Media, you as the Community Manager, Gaming and Entertainment, will be responsible for cultivating and nurturing our online communities across multiple social media platforms. We are looking for a talented and innovative individual to step into the role of Community Manager, explicitly focusing on managing the social channels of Impact Theory Studio’s IP franchises, including and and their gaming platforms.

Your expertise in social media best practices, content publishing, community moderation, copywriting, and data analysis will be crucial in this role. A deep understanding and passion for gaming are key to success. You will be an extension of the Project Kyzen voice and be responsible for our growing community, as well as ensuring that all interactions align with the brand persona, guidelines, and voice.

Your Responsibilities

Writing Captions and Copy: Generate highly engaging, captivating captions and copy that resonate with the specific target audience and brand identity for each social platform. Adapt writing style, tone, and content to align with each platform’s best practices, ensuring that captions and copy effectively communicate the brand's message. This includes but is not limited to Instagram, X, TikTok, Youtube, and Discord posts.

Content Publishing: Schedule daily social media posts across Instagram, X, Discord, YouTube, TikTok, and Medium for the Impact Theory Studios Entertainment accounts specifically towards gaming.

Social Media Calendar: Maintain and manage multiple social media editorial calendars to ensure consistent and timely content delivery.

Must be able to pivot posting cadence based on performance, etc.

Timing is critical for social media - one must be able to identify and publish content during times with the most reach across each social media channel

Community Engagement and Moderation: Foster a positive and engaged online community by responding to comments, facilitating discussions, as well as sourcing relevant content that aligns with brand guidelines & unique brand persona. Requirement: Must have strong writing skills, impeccable spelling, and grammar, and the adept ability to craft copy aligned to the Project Kyzen and Merry Modz distinct tone of voice.

Must be able to like and reply to comments with a distinct brand tone & persona depending on the account

Identify @ and/or mentions of Project Kyzen on external social media accounts; ensure they are crediting appropriately and engage with these posts foster community engagement

Must be available on weekends to publish content and moderate across social channels

Community Support: Provide a world-class level of customer service via Discord support tickets, including product and community inquiries, and first-level technical support for game and Discord issues, and escalate where necessary. Capture community feedback/ issues and log as Jira tickets for the technical teams to review, and provide updates back to the community.

Community Contests: Manage the contests and giveaways process, including ideating legally compliant giveaways, drafting announcements, selecting and contacting eligible winners, and distributing prizes.

Event Management: Organize, schedule, and host online community Discord calls and events, including AMAs, and moderate X Spaces with , and other partner teams and communities. Support the organization of real-life events, including venue research and liaison, guest list setup and management, and creation of event assets, including ads, POAPs, QR codes, etc.

Data Analysis: Monitor audience sentiment and engagement, interpret social media KPIs (e.g., engagement rate, reach, saves, @ mentions across social media), and provide high-level daily reports on sentiment, robust monthly social media reports for performance analysis as well as actionable insights across social channels, as well as ad hoc reports as requested

Must be highly analytical and have the ability to create reports that are unique to each brand

Tool Proficiency: Utilize social media SAAS platforms like Iconosquare, Hootsuite, Khoros, SproutSocial, etc., for efficient content scheduling and management. Use project management tools like Monday and Jira to streamline tasks and social media editorial calendars.

Requirements

4 years experience in Community Management or a Social Media-related role

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple social media editorial calendars.

Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

Great passion and knowledge of gaming, specifically Web3-based.

Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, algorithms, and best practices.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt content to different social media channels and engage with diverse audiences.

Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions.

Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Proficient in using social media management tools such as Iconosquare, Hootsuite, Khoros, SproutSocial, etc.

Experienced in project management tools like Monday or Jira and proficient in Google Suite.

Creative thinking and adaptability to switch between brand tones.

Ability to handle community moderation and maintain a positive online environment.

Must be available on weekends and holidays to publish content and moderate

Compensation for this role ranges from $85,000 to $100,000/yearly, depending on experience.
