Our client, based in Phoenix, Arizona, is seeking an experienced Cloud Network Engineer to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

- Hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite each week in Phoenix
Position Summary:
The Cloud Network Engineer will design, build, and maintain both on-premises and cloud-based network environments that connect corporate offices, retail stores, and warehouse operations. This individual will ensure high performance, availability, and security across the organization’s network infrastructure—supporting critical business systems, POS technology, and end-user connectivity. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and adept at troubleshooting complex networking challenges.
Key Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking and OSI model fundamentals
- Hands-on expertise with Cisco routing and switching; CCNA required, CCNP preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing medium to large LAN/WAN environments
- Skilled in configuring, deploying, and troubleshooting routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points
- Experience using network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Wireshark, Dynatrace, etc.)
- Proficient in documenting network topology diagrams, configurations, and SOPs
Security & Cloud Expertise:
- In-depth understanding of network security practices—firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, NAC, ACLs
- Familiarity with threat mitigation strategies and security compliance
- Minimum 5 years of experience in cloud networking across AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI
- Knowledge of hybrid cloud architectures and integrations
Salary : $110,000 - $120,000
