Responsibilities Include:
- Supporting daily living activities, personal care, meals, and medication assistance
- Encouraging independence, confidence, and life skills
- Assisting with appointments, medical coordination, and documentation
- Supporting community outings, recreational activities, and social engagement
- Serving as a positive role model through respectful communication and support
Preferred Skills
- Experience supporting individuals with disabilities or caregiving experience
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency in spoken and written English required for daily communication with staff and families.
- Experience with documentation systems such as Therap, Paycom, or StationMD
- Budgeting and household management skills
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver’s license required (Ability to obtain a Class E license within 14 days of hire)
- Proof of vehicle insurance required
- Ability to pass background checks and reference verification
- Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts
