Our Trumbull, CT based client is seeking a Trade Marketing Manager to join their growing team. This is a wonderful opportunity to join a premier, global brand. Our client offers a hybrid schedule of 3 days in the office and 2 days at home, with a salary in the $125k-$135k range plus great benefits.
Key Responsibilities
- Trade Strategy & Execution: Design and execute channel-specific marketing plans across North American retail partners to drive profitable category volume.
- Sales Enablement & Go-To-Market: Build impact-driven GTM assets, including sales kits, pitch decks, sell-in collateral, staff training materials, and rep incentive programs.
- In-Store & Merchandising Optimization: Develop and oversee visual merchandising programs, point-of-purchase (POP) materials, and promotional execution.
- Cross-Functional Partnership: Work hand-in-hand with Sales, Sales Planning, and Customer Service to align trade programs with commercial account strategies.
- Budget Management: Full ownership of the trade marketing budget for designated categories, tracking performance and ensuring optimal ROI on channel spend.
- Market & Consumer Insights: Adapt global buyer personas and brand strategies to resonate with North American retail buyers and end consumers.
- Project Management: Manage multi-channel initiatives, new product launches, and external vendor/agency relationships with clear KPIs and timelines.
Key Qualifications
- 5 years of trade marketing, channel marketing, or commercial strategy experience within consumer hard goods, durable goods, or CPG.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven ability to balance high-level strategic planning with hands-on, operational execution.
- Strong financial/analytical acumen with experience managing trade budgets and evaluating promotion effectiveness.
- Willingness to travel periodically for key account presentations, retail visits, and trade events.
