Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Impact Staffing International (ISI) is looking for a skilled Sr. Data Analyst (SQL) with 5 years of professional experience in data science, business intelligence, statistical analysis or similar disciplines, based in Irving, Texas. The Sr. Data Analyst (SQL) will play a pivotal role in managing and delivering enterprise-wide analytical projects while supporting cross-functional collaboration on data and actionable intelligence. Reporting to the Senior Enterprise Analytics Manager, this position will support the operationalization and adoption of the Data 360 initiative for the business user community across the airport. This role involves 80% SQL development and 20% visualization building within Tableau, promoting and driving the tenets of data democratization. This position will advocate for and foster collaboration across departments and systems to develop, research, evaluate, and leverage core data analytics, while participating in the development of standardized reporting and KPIs across the enterprise. The Sr. Data Analyst (SQL) will create and deliver VP- and executive-level reports, dashboards, and analytics to enhance decision-making and accelerate business strategy execution. Partnering with ITS, they will support the internal and external data ecosystem, contribute to our client’s data strategy, lead in Information Management, and assist in driving results within the Data Management process. This role includes supporting Data Governance program initiatives, employing primary and secondary research strategies, coordinating analytics with third-party resources and research organizations, and participating in industry-related conferences and meetings. Additionally, this position will evaluate and select new data and analysis tools, research and implement innovative methodologies to add business value, and advocate for the implementation of our client’s data catalog. They will assist in gathering, generating, and documenting metadata while monitoring key aviation performance metrics and recommending action plans to address issues. This position is a hybrid contract-to-hire role, going in the office 4 days each week.
Required Skills and Background:
- Bachelor's degree in information management, data science, business, marketing, aviation management or related field.
- Five (5) years of professional experience in data science, business intelligence, statistical analysis or similar disciplines. Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substituted for the above.

- Ability to travel extensively domestically and internationally.
- Possession of a valid Class C driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a related field.
- Experience with a major airport or airline.
- Experience with Power BI
- Strong statistical, forecasting, and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of the aviation industry operations.
