We're Hiring: Physical Therapist (Long-Term Care)
Shreveport, Louisiana | Contract to Hire | $55-$75/hour
Make a real difference in patients' lives every day. We're looking for a licensed Physical Therapist to join a long-term care team helping residents regain strength, mobility, and independence after injury or illness.
What you'll do:
- Evaluate patients and build personalized treatment plans
- Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and mobility training
- Use modalities like ultrasound, E-Stim, TENS, and hydrotherapy to relieve pain and speed recovery
- Teach patients and families how to continue progress at home
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the broader care team
- Mentor PT assistants and aides
What you bring:
- Degree in Physical Therapy and current state license
- 1 year of experience preferred (new grads welcome to apply)
- A genuine passion for working with the geriatric population
- Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset
