Senior CNC Setup Machinist & G-Code Specialist (1st Shift)

- TECHNICAL DEPTH 3 years of professional CNC setup mastery alongside the ability to read, interpret, and manually edit G-Code at the controller
- MACHINERY ASSETS Experience setting up and optimizing advanced multi-axis platforms (Doosan, Mori Seiki, or similar modern equipment preferred)
- SCHEDULE Premium 1st Shift: Monday–Thursday 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM, and Friday 6:00 AM – 10:00 AM (Enjoy your weekends early!)

What You Will Be Doing
- Interpreting complex engineering blueprints and technical geometric drawings to execute flawless setups on CNC mills and lathes
- Utilizing hands-on G-Code mastery to dial in, troubleshoot, and manually optimize machining programs directly at the machine controller
- Performing detailed first-article inspections and in-process quality checks using precision micrometers, calipers, and gauges to secure a zero-defect production standard
- Mentoring, training, and shadowing machine operators to ensure they can load parts, monitor offsets, and run jobs with strict repeatability
- Partnering directly with operations leadership and programming teams to pioneer process improvements, slash cycle times, and eliminate bottlenecking
What We Are Looking For
- Machining Core: 3 or more years of verifiable experience performing complex CNC machine setups and working actively with G-Code programming/editing.
- Platform Familiarity: Direct experience working with modern, high-end CNC equipment like Mori Seiki, Doosan, or closely comparable multi-tasking platforms.
- Technical Literacy: A flawless ability to read complex engineering schematics and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) callouts.
- Professional Stability: A solid, reliable work history with a track record of strong attendance and a safety-first manufacturing mindset.
- Proximity: Permanent residency within a reasonable, daily driving distance of the Northeast Wisconsin manufacturing corridor.
