What they are looking for:
• Baccalaureate degree in microbiology or Medical Technology or Medical Laboratory Science with ASCP/AMT certification.
• Minimum 2 years of microbiology experience. Minimum 2 years supervisory experience in microbiology.
Hours and compensation potential:
• Monday-Friday 6:30am-3:00pm(every 3rd weekend rotation).
• Hourly range between $26.89hr-$40.33hr depending on experience plus shift differentials and a full benefit package including 15K sign-on bonus.
What you will be doing:
• Responsible for the supervision of the Laboratory personnel conducting routine or specialized testing in the microbiology department.
Provides technical and managerial direction to ensure a)accuracy and efficiency of services provided by assigned group, b) resolve problems within the department, c) perform necessary formal training and competence , and d) manage utilization of resources.
• This position is a working position.
• Responsible for the orientation, training, competency assessment and development of staff.
