Well established power generation company is actively seeking an experienced Control Room Operator - Power Plant - Boiler for Billings, Montana. Requires a high school degree and a minimum of two (2) years of power plant experience including one (1) year at the technician level and one (1) year as a Control Room Operator (CRO).
This is not an entry level position. Most skills are learned through prior on-the-job training. High school graduate preferred who has technical training or related work experience. Vocation-technical training preferred but not essential. Must pass Basic and Operator skills test.
Qualifications:
- Requires a minimum of two (2) years of power plant experience and a high school diploma.
- Must have previous Control Board Operator experience. Must have a good understanding of solid fuel power plants and how they work.
- Must have previous experience as a solid fuel or gas fired power plant operator with Control Board experience.
Compensation:
- Annual compensation is anticipated to be in the $88,000 - $100,000 range including hourly rate ($42/hour -$48/hour) plus overtime pay.
