Housekeeper - Eau Claire

POSITION SUMMARY:

Due to the nature of the property management industry, this position must be available to work the last day and first day of each month. The primary responsibilities of this position are:

1. Responsible for general appearance and cleanliness of the physical property including building interiors and exteriors, common areas, amenity areas, office and grounds.
2. Maintain pleasant atmosphere and positive rapport with residents.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Daily Duties

• Walk all hallways pick up any trash, vacuum, and/or clean floors, walls, and ceilings.
• Clean all laundry rooms; wipe down all machines, tables and wash tubs. Sweep and mop floors.
• Empty trash.
• Clean all entryways and stairwells, wipe down all windows, sweep and mop stairs and landings.
• Wipe down all handrails. Clean rugs. Clean doors, closures, knobs and frames. Empty all trashcans. Wipe down entry phones and mailboxes.
• Walk the entire outside of the buildings and pick up all trash. Pay special attention to cigarette butts throughout all entries.
• Deliver flyers and letters to residents on the same day received.
• Perform special projects as directed by management.
• Clean office/clubhouse/amenity areas/model units (if applicable).
• A specific schedule of daily, weekly and monthly duties will be distributed. At the end of the work day, all supplies will be put in their proper place and all work areas will be tidied up.

2. Turning Apartments: Occasionally housekeeper must be available on the first and last day of the month, as well as throughout the month, to make all turning apartments ready for the new residents.

3. Responsible to monitor supply inventory and creating a supply order for management.

4. Participate in on-going training sessions.

5. Create and maintain a safe work environment, any safety concerns must be reported to your supervisor immediately.

6. Adhere to all Fair Housing laws and regulations.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS: (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, Training and Experience.)

Education and/or Experience

1. 1. No educational requirement.
   2. Experience with cleaning is a plus.
2. Language Skills
   1. Ability to communicate orally and understand written and oral instructions.
3. Mathematical Skills
   1. Ability to calculate hours worked and supplies needed.
4. Computer Skills
   1. None required.
5. Reasoning Ability
   1. Must be able to work independently and be a team player. Ability to read and pay attention to detail when delivering notices to the correct residents address. Ability to prioritize duties/ assignments.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:

If position has multiple site locations, valid drivers license with current vehicle insurance.
