Security Officer Unarmed

· Over 3 years of experience in security providing security for people, property, and assets in commercial, and corporate environments, and Residential / Multi Family Housing.

· Current Nevada (NV) Guard Card holder in good standing, authorized to work as an Unarmed Security Officer throughout Nevada.

· Strong knowledge of security procedures, access control, and emergency response protocols.

· Experienced in conducting foot patrols, and perimeter checks to maintain a safe and secure environment.

· Skilled in incident reporting, documentation, and maintaining accurate daily activity logs.

· Ability to respond calmly and effectively to emergency situations, disturbances, and security breaches.

· Excellent observation and situational awareness skills with attention to detail.

· Strong customer service and communication skills when interacting with clients, visitors, residents, and employees.

· Experienced in enforcing property rules, company policies, and safety regulations in a professional manner.

· Knowledge of conflict de-escalation techniques and the ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism and tact.

· Reliable, dependable, and capable of working independently or as part of a security team.

· Physically capable of standing, walking, and patrolling for extended periods while maintaining alertness and vigilance

· Conducted regular foot and vehicle patrols of residential communities, apartment complexes, and commercial properties to deter criminal activity and ensure resident safety.

· Monitored property grounds, parking areas, amenities, and common areas for suspicious activity, safety hazards, and policy violations.

· Responded promptly to resident concerns, complaints, disturbances, and non-emergency incidents.

· Enforced community rules and regulations while maintaining positive relationships with residents and guests.

· Documented incidents, violations, and security concerns through detailed daily activity reports and incident reports.

· Assisted residents with noise complaints, parking enforcement, and other courtesy-related services.

· Reported property damage, maintenance issues, safety hazards, and suspicious persons to management and law enforcement when necessary.

· Monitored access points and observed visitor activity to help maintain a secure environment.

· Provided exceptional customer service while maintaining a professional and visible security presence.

· Utilized conflict resolution and de-escalation techniques to handle disputes and disruptive behavior effectively.

· Coordinated with local law enforcement, emergency responders, and property management during incidents and emergencies.

· Maintained high visibility throughout assigned patrol areas to deter theft, vandalism, trespassing, and other unwanted activities.

We are seeking dedicated, career-focused officers who are committed to ensuring safety and security. This position requires a lot of walking, being in out doors and in the elements. This not a Guard shack position.
