Essential Functions:
- Assist the CDL HydroVac Operator in the safe and efficient operation of HydroVac equipment.
- Support the setup, maintenance, and breakdown of job sites, ensuring all equipment is in proper working order.
- Follow safety protocols rigorously to maintain a secure job site environment.
- Perform general labor duties including digging, lifting, and moving materials as required by the project.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization on the job site, ensuring tools and materials are properly stored.
- Assist in routine maintenance and minor repairs of equipment and vehicles.
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth workflow.
- Participate in safety meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge relevant to the role.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a labor-intensive role, preferably within Hydrovac or construction industries, is advantageous.
- Strong physical ability to perform demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
- A strong commitment to safety and attention to detail in all tasks.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
Physical Requirements:
- Must have physical stamina and strength to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to lift up to 90 lbs.
- Must work outside in all different weather conditions including extreme cold and extreme heat
