What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physical Therapy Aide Outpatient Clinic position at Impact Physio, LLC?
The Physical Therapy Aide Role That Can Help You Decide Your Future
You are not looking for just any job.
You are looking for a role that gives you real experience, real mentorship, and a real chance to figure out whether a career in physical therapy is the path you want to pursue.
At Impact Physio, this is not a random aide job where you just wipe tables, stay busy, and leave without learning anything meaningful.
This is a chance to step inside a growing outpatient orthopedic clinic, work alongside a strong team, and get hands-on exposure to the day-to-day world of physical therapy.
If you are a college student, recent graduate, or aspiring PT student who wants to build experience that actually matters, this could be exactly the kind of opportunity you have been looking for.
Why This Role Matters
A lot of future PTs reach the same point:
- Should I go to PT school?
- Is this the right career for me?
- Do I need more experience before I apply?
- How do I know if this is really what I want?
This role helps answer those questions in a meaningful way.
- You will not just observe from the sidelines.
- You will be part of the clinic.
You will learn how an outpatient physical therapy practice actually runs. You will support patients, therapists, and clinic flow. You will gain exposure to the environment, language, pace, and purpose of this profession while building experience that can help shape your next step.
And along the way, you will work inside a clinic that values customer satisfaction, team culture, and long-term retention, not just numbers.
Why Impact Physio Feels Different
At Impact Physio, the focus is not just on volume or pushing people through the door.
We care deeply about the experience patients have and the environment our team gets to work in every day.
That shows up in the way this clinic operates.
- Strong team culture: Most team members stay long term because this is a place where people enjoy coming to work.
- A modern outpatient setting: You will work in a professional, organized clinic environment that supports both patients and staff.
- A role with real exposure: This is not just a placeholder job before grad school. It is an opportunity to learn the ins and outs of outpatient physical therapy from the inside.
- A stepping stone with purpose: If you already know you want to work in physical therapy, this role can help you build the kind of experience that gives you clarity, confidence, and momentum.
What You Will Do
As a Physical Therapy Aide, you will play an important role in keeping the clinic running smoothly and helping create a great experience for every patient who walks through the door.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the therapy team with daily clinic flow and patient needs
- Bringing patients back for their sessions and helping keep the treatment area moving efficiently
- Keeping the office clean, organized, and professional
- Following therapist instructions and assisting with day-to-day clinic tasks
- Helping with scheduling and front office support as needed
- Learning the rhythms of outpatient physical therapy, including terminology, treatment flow, and patient interaction
Who This Role Is Best For
This role is a strong fit for someone who:
- Wants to pursue a future in physical therapy
- Is looking for meaningful clinical experience before PT school
- Enjoys working with people and being part of a team
- Takes pride in being dependable, organized, and coachable
- Wants to learn how a physical therapy clinic really works
Is not just exploring casually, but is seriously interested in the field
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for someone excited to use this opportunity as a true launching point.
- Someone who wants to learn.
- Someone who wants to contribute.
- Someone who wants to be around physical therapy every day and grow from that experience.
This role is not ideal for someone who is only trying to check a box or casually shadow the profession. If you are simply trying to decide whether PT might be interesting, observation hours are likely the better route.
But if you already feel pulled toward this field and want to get real experience in it, we would love to meet you.
