Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients recovering from injuries or surgeries.
- Conduct patient assessments and document progress in accordance with care plans.
- Provide hands-on patient care, including exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities as directed by the supervising therapist.
- Participate in discharge planning by preparing patients for their transition out of therapy services.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and modify care plans based on patient needs and progress.
- Educate patients and their families about exercises, home care routines, and lifestyle modifications to enhance recovery.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to health and safety protocols.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assisting or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and principles of physical therapy.
- Experience or familiarity with inpatient settings, geriatrics, pediatrics, and acute care is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and empathy.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare staff.

Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
