Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and results driven Commercial Lines Insurance Producer to join our growing sales team. As a Producer, you will be responsible for generating new business, managing accounts, and achieving sales targets. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for sales and a desire to grow their career in a dynamic industry. Your key responsibilities may include:
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, and networking
- Managing a pipeline of current and potential new commercial accounts
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business
- Conducting market research to identify potential customers and industry trends
- Analyzing customer needs and recommend appropriate products or services
- Staying current on DOI regulations and agency compliance requirements
- Preparing and delivering sales presentations to potential clients
- Staying up-to-date with industry developments and competitors' offerings
- Minimum of 2 years experience in insurance
- Must have a current P&C insurance license
- Commercial Insurance sales experience
- Proven experience in business development, outside sales, or account management
- Ability to prospect, follow up consistently, and manage a sales pipeline
- Strong sales skills with the ability to analyze customer needs and provide effective solutions
- Familiarity with CRM software, for managing customer relationships
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset
- Comfortable working in person and networking within the local community
This role starts with:
- Base Salary ranging from $60,000-$70,000 based on experience
- 50% new business commission 30% renewal commission
