Wireless Internet Field Installation and Maintenance Technician
Impact Internet is a fixed wireless home internet provider looking for a Field Technician.
The Field Technician is responsible for installation and servicing of Impact Internet’s customers internet services.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
§ Perform installations of customer internet service at their homes
§ Roof mount antennas on customer roof and run cabling into the home
§ Configure indoor internet routers and customer Wi-Fi access points
§ Provides positive customer support both during installs and service calls
§ Locate optimal placement for equipment
§ Installation of equipment
§ Perform site surveys
§ Track and document the progression of work
§ Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues
§ Provide verbal or written instructions for our internet service
§ Build relationships and trust with customers
§ Travel daily to and from customer’ residence or business in company provided vehicle
§ Ability to pivot work hours when demand warrants
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
Requirements for Consideration:
· High School Diploma or GED equivalent
· Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
· Ability to assist customers patiently and consistently
· Understanding of basic technology
· Familiarity with power and hand tools
· Ability to climb and work on a ladder
· Problem Solving
· Deductive reasoning
· Ability to operate handheld mobile devices
· Detail-oriented and able to stay on task
· Ability to crouch and kneel while working
· Valid Drivers’ License

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
