With a 55,000 SF modular manufacturing facility, an in-house architectural and construction team, and a growing portfolio of market rate and affordable housing projects, Impact Housing is scaling its operations to deliver meaningful, innovative housing solutions.POSITION SUMMARYWe are seeking a Construction General Laborer with hands-on experience operating manlifts and aerial work platforms. This role supports a variety of on-site construction activities, particularly work performed at elevated heights and general site tasks.The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-oriented, and able to assist multiple trades throughout different stages of construction.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESSafely operate manlifts to support crews working at elevated heights.Perform daily equipment checks and report any issues.Assist with general site clean-up and debris removal.Help move, load, and stage materials as directed.Support construction crews with basic tasks as needed.Follow all jobsite safety rules and instructions from supervisors.QUALIFICATIONSPrevious experience operating manlifts (preferred - not required)Knowledge of jobsite safety practices and fall protection standards.Ability to work at heights for extended periods.Basic construction knowledge, including use of tools, equipment, and jobsite materials.Ability to follow instructions and work with a team.WORK AUTHORIZATIONAll prospective Impact Housing employees need to demonstrate eligibility to work in the U.S.COMPENSATION AND BENEFITSHourly pay of $18.00 - $20.00 - depending on experienceMedical, Dental, Vision, FSA, and HSAVacationSick PayHoliday PayOwnership of company equity401(k) retirement planPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSAbility to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday.Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.Comfortable working in elevated positions, varied weather, and active construction environments.NOTEThis job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee(s) of this position.
