About the Role:
As a Chaplain, you will play a vital role in providing spiritual and emotional support to patients, families, and staff. You will be responsible for providing pastoral care, grief counseling, and psychotherapy to those in need. Your role will also involve developing and implementing programs that promote patient rights and well-being. Ultimately, you will be instrumental in ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care and support during their time with us.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience in pastoral counseling and grief counseling
- Ability to make independent decisions and work autonomously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- One unit of CPE and an MDiv or related degree
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in chaplaincy or related field
- Experience in patient advocacy and rights
- Experience in psychotherapy
Responsibilities:
- Provide pastoral care and counseling to patients, families, and staff
- Develop and implement programs that promote patient rights and well-being
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions
Skills:
As a Chaplain, you will utilize your skills in stewardship, grief counseling, pastoral counseling, and psychotherapy on a daily basis. You will also need to make independent decisions and work autonomously, while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential in this role, as you will be providing emotional and spiritual support to patients, families, and staff. Additionally, experience in program development and management, patient advocacy and rights, and psychotherapy will be beneficial in this role.
Salary : $28 - $34
