Our innovative client in Toledo is in need of a Senior Controls Engineer to join their team that will provide control solutions.
Salary: up to $125,000 - depending on experience
Job Description:
- Design, configure, and simulate controls systems for complex automation designs
- PLC and HMI programming
- Control panel design and details
- Hardware selection and Bill of materials creation
- Travel to customer sites for setup purposes and assistance on the shop floor
- Interaction with other departments, suppliers, and customers to obtain pertinent information
- Work with the senior mechanical setup technician to ensure that the machine functionality is complete and approved prior to shipping
- Perform sales and engineering visits when required
Job Requirements:
- BS in Electrical Engineering
- 8 years of applicable experience
- Prior experience in PLC and robotics
- Working understanding of Excel, Word, AutoCAD, Allen Bradley ControlLogix, and Allen Bradley Panel View Software
- Familiarity with other commercial and industrial control systems
- Willing to travel to customer locations, some international travel, up to 30%
