Position Overview:The Production Supervisor is responsible for assuring through the Group Leaders and production personnel that processes, practices, and procedures are complied with to allow us to meet production goals, on time delivery requirements and cost containment while still maintaining the Company’s safety and quality standards.Responsibilities Include:Prepare and maintain production reports, assist in setting production goals, and communicate when issues happen and help provide solutions. Works closely with our CFT, Sales and Management Team to understand the customers’ needs while identifying issues that may prevent Operations from meeting customer expectations. Ability to read blueprints, understand technical drawings/specifications, work orders, work instructions, formulas, or processing charts.Supervise Group Leaders and production workers, motivating, developing, and directing people as they work, and identifying the best people for specific jobs.Help determine production staffing requirements, train new employees, and oversee personnel processes and manage the movement of goods into and out of production facilities.Help to establish and implement departmental policies, goals, objectives, and procedures, conferring with management and staff members as necessary. Conduct meetings with production personnel to ensure production objectives are met, conduct or attend staff meetings, and confer with group leads to coordinate activities. Manage production personnel, preparing work schedules to meet deadlines and assigning specific duties.Oversee activities directly related to production and processing.Determine factors affecting production processes, review operations and confer with technical or administrative staff to resolve production or processing problems.Provide guidance and direction to subordinates, including setting performance standards and monitoring performance. Responsible to ensure that all work is done in accordance with documented instructions located in the work instructions, ISO and other regulatory standards, and company policies.Periodically check the quality of the work in process, immediately correcting and addressing any problems by conferring with management and engineers to plan and review work activities, and resolve production problems. Report problems with equipment, tooling and/or documentation immediately so that corrective action can be taken.Perform other duties as assignedQualifications Profile:Professional demeanor and appearance while working within an ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 environment.Detail oriented and possess excellent organizational, time-management, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work constructively with individuals at all levels of responsibility.Strong computer skills with Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Experience with, or ability to quickly learn collaboration tools such as SharePoint.An inquisitive and innovative nature, excellent critical and analytical thinking, integrity, willingness to step into new initiatives, strong communication and facilitation skills, team focused mentality, along with a commitment to continuously learning and improving. Education and Experience: An Associate of Science degree in a technical discipline and/or five years experience in an electronic manufacturing and production environment.Previous experience working in an electronic manufacturing environment is desired.Ability to communicate and work well with all levels of personnel. #IES1
