Warehouse Lead 1st Shift

Impact Confections is an innovative manufacturer of candies marketed under the WarHeads® and Melster Candies® brand names. WarHeads® and are one of the most recognized (and tastiest!) sour candies in the world and the fastest growing brand in the market!The 1st shift position hours are 7:00am -3:00pm Monday through Friday. Weekends may be required during peak season. SUMMARYThis position is responsible for overseeing all the daily shipping and receiving. Ensure all materials are available for production. Responsible for accurate counts and paperwork for daily shipments and receiving’s. Responsible for daily team member assignments. This position will also be responsible for storing materials, picking, packing, loading, and unloading of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods. The objective of this role is to increase warehouse efficiencies, improve profitability and drive customer satisfaction through on time and in full delivery of orders.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Review daily Bill of Ladings (BOL) assessing current product availability and location.Assess and direct team assignments working with the Supervisor.Review and sign off on all shipments for accuracy.Collect the received goods paperwork and submit to the Supervisor.Back up team members when understaffed or for vacations.Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store).Back up- shipping coordinator.Stage, replenish, identify, update and communicate material needs for packaging and production (material handlers).Perform inventory controls and maintain standards required for SQF auditing.Keep a clean and safe working environment with strict adherence to GMPs and optimization of space utilization.Complete all diary logs (WMS based as needed) into inventory.Report any and all inventory discrepancies.Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers.Comply with all safety standards.Complete all daily logs ( WMS based as needed) into inventory.Responsible for all Domestic and International shipping via Fed-Ex & UPSQUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
