Warehouse Shuttle Driver- 3rd Shift- No CDL Required!

SUMMARY

The Warehouse Shuttle Driver is an active role that supports the transport and shipment of the tastiest candies in the world to customers and distributors throughout our network. Utilizing a powered industrial forklift and a straight truck, the primary role of this position is to load finished goods from our production facility, shuttle to our adjacent warehouse(s), and unload in the appropriate warehouse location. Though a CDL is not required, a valid drivers’ license and an acceptable driving record is required. You’ll keep busy in a fast-paced warehouse environment as you contribute towards keeping our fans supplied with the most popular sour candies in the world!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Safely and efficiently uses a straight truck and powered industrial forklift to load, shuttle, and then unload finished goods from the production facility to the appropriate warehouse location.
• Supports the warehouse team as needed by printing picklists and planning, delivering and accurately staging packaging materials for use in the manufacturing process.
• Effectively communicates with the production department to coordinate the timely removal of finished goods from the production facility upon completion.
• Using computer applications and Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) programs, accurately records and updates databases to reflect product movements and/or material usages as needed.
• Performs database queries and searches to locate and identify product and materials, performing visual verification and validation of inventory quantities as needed.
• Plans, organizes and stages finished goods as needed in preparation for carrier pickup.
• Strong desire to achieve while working within and supporting a team environment, doing whatever it takes to help fulfill our customer commitments.
• Must also be able to work independently, motivated to achieve daily goals and objectives without direct supervision.
• Adheres to and supports all applicable safety and GMP practices while performing job duties.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid drivers’ license with an acceptable driving record is required!!!
• Prior forklift driving experience is strongly preferred
• Intermediate familiarity and use of computers and software applications
• Self-starter, hardworking with a positive attitude
• Must be able to lift up to 30# frequently
