Job Summary
This position is responsible for storing materials, picking, packing, loading, and unloading of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods. The objective of this role is to increase warehouse efficiencies, improve profitability and drive customer satisfaction through on time and in full delivery of orders. You must posses a current unrestricted driver’s license, and are able to pass a MVR Report.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship).
Move product and/or supplies between warehouses uses a straight truck.
Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store).
Perform inventory controls and maintain standards required for SQF auditing.
Keep a clean and safe working environment with strict adherence to GMPs and optimization of space utilization.
Complete all diary logs (WMS based as needed) into inventory.
Report all inventory discrepancies.
Back up 2nd Shift Warehouse Lead on pick list (materials and supplies for future production).
Communicate and cooperate with lead, supervisors and coworkers.
Comply with all safety standards.
Requirements
Written and verbal comprehension of English.
Ability to perform basic mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
Good organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work with semi-independence and against assigned work tasks.
Current fork truck license or ability to qualify.
Current unrestricted driver’s license.
High school diploma or GED equivalent desired.
CDL-A license (preferred but not required).
Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
Ability to push and/or pull up to 1,500 lbs on pallet jacks.
Ability to work extended hours with or without notice.
Computer skills to include ability to enter transactions into computer system and ability to use excel, word and email (as needed).
Demonstrates a commitment to food safety and continuous improvements.
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and/or combination of related experience and/or training. A minimum of 3 years of warehousing experience including driving forklift.
Language and Communication Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Proven effective inter-personal skills. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
Attendance
Proven record of good attendance.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Computer Skills
Basic computer skills; ability to learn other application software essential to performing job tasks.

The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; toxic or caustic chemicals; and risk of electrical shock as well as wet and humid, and cold or hot conditions.
