- Support individuals with physical tasks that may involve heavy lifting or mobility assistance.
- Foster a supportive environment by encouraging independence while providing necessary assistance.
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and any changes in client status.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care plans are followed.
- Uphold the dignity and respect of each individual while promoting their rights and preferences.
Requirements
- Previous experience in caregiving or direct support roles is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with working with individuals with disabilities or in long-term care settings is advantageous.
- Strong observational skills to effectively monitor client needs and respond appropriately.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for client mobility assistance.
- Compassionate demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and their families.
