We are seeking a Part-Time General Office Assistant to join our team! You will perform clerical and administrative functions in order to drive company success. Responsibilities:Perform general clerical duties including filing, scanning, shredding, and data entrySort and distribute incoming mail and package deliveries and prepare outgoing correspondenceProcess and deposit incoming paper checksAssist staff and visitors with basic inquiries and requestsAdditional tasks as needed File, scan, and organize physical and digital documentsPerform data entry and maintain spreadsheets and databasesPrepare reports and documentsMaintain and order office suppliesKeep communal areas clean and organizedAssist with bookkeeping or other financial tasks if neededProvide general assistance to other departments or staffHelp with office events and employee activitiesAssist new employees with administrative setup Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalentStrong work ethic and pride in the work you doBasic computer skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook, data entry)Intermediate Excel level preferredStrong communication and organizational skillsAbility to manage time effectively and work independentlyAttention to detail and a positive attitudeAbility to learn new software/systems at a reasonable pace Company DescriptionImpact Business Technology is a Managed IT Services provider offering services to small and medium enterprises primarily in the Connecticut and NYC metro area.
