What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tow Truck Dispatcher position at Impact Body Works?
***BUSY SCHILLER PARK TOW COMPANY IN NEED OF EXPERIENCED, FULL TIME DISPATCHER ASAP***
Busy tow company based in Schiller Park, IL in need of EXPERIENCED, FULL TIME dispatcher. The perfect fit for this positon is a self-starter who can work effectively with little to no guidance.
***PRIOR KNOWLEDGE OF CHICAGOLAND STREETS/INTERSECTIONS A HUGE PLUS***
Daily responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
-High volume of inbound/outbound calls
-Track & dispatch up to 25 tow trucks/drivers throughout the Chicagoloand and surrounding areas
-Dispatch incoming fleet and roadside assistance calls that are received throughout the day
-Track/Monitor the status of vehicles and equipment
-Assist all drivers with non-routine occurrences that may happen during the day (i.e. breakdowns, accidents, etc.)
-May be required to work longer than a normal daily shift
-Perform additional duties as needed
