Job Overview:

This is an opportunity for a Quality leader who is energized by building systems, developing

people, and creating the infrastructure that fuels rapid manufacturing growth.

As Director of Quality, you'll lead our growing Quality organization while designing the systems,

processes, and culture needed to support the next phase of Impact Beverage's growth. You'll

partner directly with executive leadership to ensure our Quality Management System scales.

Success in this role requires someone who is equally comfortable leading people, solving

technical problems, and creating long-term systems that allow quality to be a competitive

advantage.

Work Location and Format:

4831 Spring Grove Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45232

Primarily work on-site, with flexibility to work from home as projects and responsibilities

permit.

Reports To: President & Chief Operating Officer

Responsibilities:

 Partner with executive leadership to help shape company strategy while ensuring quality

remains a competitive advantage as the business scales.

 Lead and manage the Quality Department, including supervision, development, and

performance management of a team of 14 professionals.

 Lead the evolution of our Quality Management System while ensuring continued

compliance with SQF, FDA, Organic, Kosher, and other applicable standards.

 Design, improve, and scale the Quality Management System to support continued company

growth while connecting quality processes across all functional departments.

 Ensure products meet customer expectations, regulatory requirements, and internal quality

standards.

 Investigate, manage, and resolve quality issues from the field or customer complaints;

implement root cause analysis and corrective actions.

 Serve as a key liaison with customers for all quality-related inquiries, audits, and issues.

 Develop and oversee internal auditing, training, quality systems documentation, and

standard operating procedures.

 Partner with Sales, Production, Maintenance, Engineering, and Supply Chain to integrate

quality into all stages of manufacturing and new product development.

 Drive continuous improvement initiatives using data-driven methods.

 Ensure proper training and development of the quality team on food safety protocols and

quality standards.

Manage quality metrics, reporting, and performance tracking.

 Budget, track, and improve cost of quality metrics across the business.

 Take on additional leadership responsibilities that support the continued growth and

success of the organization.


Required Qualifications:

 Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Food Science, or a related field – OR – equivalent

experience in manufacturing leadership.

 Minimum 5 years of experience in food or beverage manufacturing with increasing levels of

responsibility in quality roles.

 Proven experience leading and developing teams of 10 or more people.

 Demonstrated success implementing or scaling quality systems within a rapidly growing

manufacturing organization.

 Strong problem-solving skills and experience managing customer quality complaints and

field issues.

 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interface effectively with

customers, regulatory bodies, and cross-functional teams.

 Proficiency in quality management systems, audit processes, and continuous improvement

tools.


Preferred Qualifications:

 SQF (Safe Quality Food) experience or certification

 Lean manufacturing / Six Sigma experience or certification

Physical Demands:

 Ability to sit/stand in an office environment and work on a computer most of the day.

 Ability to work in a warehouse/manufacturing environment on occasion.

 Ability to travel on an occasion for trainings, workshops, or seminars.

 Ability to wear appropriate PPE when working in the manufacturing facility.

Salary : $140,000 - $160,000
