** Position Overview: **
As a Registered Behavior Technician with Impact Behavior Therapy you will play a crucial role in implementing behavior intervention plans and providing one-on-one support to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder within a school setting. Your expertise and dedication will contribute directly to the growth and progress of these children, helping them develop essential life skills and achieve their fullest potential.
**Responsibilities:**
- Collaborate with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and other team members to develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
- Provide one-on-one support to students in a school environment, implementing behavior strategies and interventions outlined in their individualized plans.
- Collect and accurately record data on student behavior and progress during intervention sessions, ensuring that all information is maintained in accordance with company and regulatory standards.
- Utilize positive reinforcement techniques and evidence-based practices to encourage skill development and behavior improvement in students.
- Adapt and modify behavior intervention strategies as needed to accommodate individual student needs and progress.
- Communicate effectively with teachers, school staff, parents, and caregivers, providing updates on student progress, successes, and challenges.
- Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions to enhance your skills, stay up-to-date with best practices, and contribute to the continuous growth of the organization.
- Maintain professionalism and uphold ethical standards in all interactions and interventions.
- Demonstrate a commitment to creating a safe and supportive environment for students and their families.
**Qualifications: **
- Valid certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT).
- A minimum of 2 years of experience working directly with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, preferably in a school-based setting.
- Strong understanding of behavior analysis principles and strategies.
- Familiarity with data collection methods and the ability to accurately record and analyze data.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
