In this onsite role, you will serve as a strategic advisor to business leaders, aligning human resources practices with organizational goals. The HR Business Partner will play a key role in workforce planning, talent development, and change management initiatives while fostering a culture of engagement, inclusion, and performance.
Responsibilities
- Align HR strategies with organizational goals and business objectives.
- Partner with department leaders to develop and execute HR initiatives that support business needs.
- Lead workforce planning, organizational design, and succession planning efforts.
- Provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution.
- Analyze HR metrics to identify trends and recommend data-driven solutions.
- Support leadership development, coaching, and employee engagement programs.
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, Compensation, and Learning teams to deliver integrated HR solutions.
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives across the organization.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and internal policies.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 2 years in a business partner or strategic advisory role.
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) preferred.
- Strong knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and organizational development.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and data analytics tools.
- Exceptional communication, influence, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to support organizational change and employee transitions.
- Strategic mindset with a bias for action and continuous improvement.
- Ability to design and deliver impactful presentations for executive stakeholders.
- Location: Onsite in Chicago
- Travel: Minimal travel may be required.
- Work Schedule: Standard business hours; occasional flexibility based on business needs.
