Job Overview

Impact Advisors is seeking a dynamic and motivated HR Business Partner to join our team. In this onsite role, you will serve as a strategic advisor to business leaders, aligning human resources practices with organizational goals. The HR Business Partner will play a key role in workforce planning, talent development, and change management initiatives while fostering a culture of engagement, inclusion, and performance.

Responsibilities

  • Align HR strategies with organizational goals and business objectives.
  • Partner with department leaders to develop and execute HR initiatives that support business needs.
  • Lead workforce planning, organizational design, and succession planning efforts.
  • Provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution.
  • Analyze HR metrics to identify trends and recommend data-driven solutions.
  • Support leadership development, coaching, and employee engagement programs.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, Compensation, and Learning teams to deliver integrated HR solutions.
  • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives across the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and internal policies.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 5 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 2 years in a business partner or strategic advisory role.
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) preferred.

Skills And Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and organizational development.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and data analytics tools.
  • Exceptional communication, influence, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to support organizational change and employee transitions.
  • Strategic mindset with a bias for action and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to design and deliver impactful presentations for executive stakeholders.

Additional Information

  • Location: Onsite in Chicago
  • Travel: Minimal travel may be required.
  • Work Schedule: Standard business hours; occasional flexibility based on business needs.
