You will implement developmentally appropriate curriculum plans, manage classroom activities, and collaborate with families to promote optimal childhood development. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans that incorporate literacy education, math, large gross motor, and diverse learning styles.
- Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, and social interaction among children.
- Manage daily classroom activities with effective classroom management techniques to promote positive behavior and engagement.
- Conduct assessments of children’s developmental progress using standardized testing tools and document observations to inform lesson planning.
- Support children with special education needs and early intervention strategies to ensure all learners receive appropriate support.
- Foster strong communication with parents and guardians through regular updates on children’s progress and behavior management strategies.
- Maintain compliance with childcare regulations, health standards, and safety protocols while ensuring a clean and organized classroom environment.
Experience
- Proven classroom experience working with children in early childhood education settings such as daycare centers or preschools.
- Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development across various subjects including literacy education, math, large gross motor, and special education.
- Experience working with infants, toddlers and preschool-aged children in diverse learning environments.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and classroom management strategies.
- Strong communication skills for engaging effectively with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.

Pay: $15.75 - $16.25 per hour
