What are the responsibilities and job description for the Restaurant Manager position at Imo's Pizza - Kansas City?
Imo’s Pizza - Kansas City is looking for Managers to help operate our restaurant at the highest level. Applicants must be 21 years old and ideally have a reliable, insured vehicle. Managers are paid a competitive hourly wage (usually $15-20/hr to start) and split non-delivery tips with the rest of the in-store staff (average of $3-6/hr). Additional benefits include one complimentary meal per shift and 50% off additional orders for employees and immediate family. General Manager track is currently available.
At least one year of restaurant supervisory/management experience is strongly preferred. However, even more valued is a willingness to learn our processes and foster an environment that provides an exceptional experience for both staff and customers through teamwork, accountability, and attention to detail. Pay raises and additional responsibilities are based on performance, reliability, and a consistent focus on our core principles and priorities.
Primary Manager Responsibilities:
- Oversee general operations according to policies and procedures
- Able to open and close the store, as well as manage prep duties
- Prioritize health and safety at all times
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Maintain high product quality and consistency with full knowledge of the menu
- Proficient at money management, basic accounting, and general paperwork
- Resolve questions and issues in a professional manner
- Drive sales growth and optimize food and labor costs
- Place, receive, and audit product orders and manage inventory
- Strategically manage delivery orders
- Foster a culture of mutual respect, positivity, teamwork, and accountability
- Able to lift up to 25 lbs
- Proactively manages store maintenance, marketing efforts, and side projects
- Able to work flexible hours, including weekend, holiday, and on call availability
