Research Associate
ImmunEdge Inc is an exciting biotech start-up company located in Stanford Research Park, and focuses on targeting myeloid immune cells to treat cancer and other life-threatening diseases. We are seeking talented and self-motivated individuals with experience in molecular biology, cell biology, or biochemistry.
Job Description
The Research Associate will be a part of a team effort to develop antibody/protein therapeutics.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Independently execute well-controlled biochemical experiments in recombinant DNA, cell-based assay, protein purification, or bioproduction.
- Evaluate, troubleshoot and solve routine problems. Interprets data based on knowledge and experience.
- Maintain accurate and well-organized records and laboratory notebook.
- Organize and present scientific data at team meetings.
Qualification:
- Bachelors or Masters in microbiology, molecular biology, biochemistry or related field required.
- 2 years relevant experience in the life sciences industry. Experience in antibody engineering is highly preferred but not required.
- High attention to detail with good time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize assignments in a multi-task position.
- Motivated and able to work independently.
- Effective interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
