Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated MRI Technologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans on patients to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology, as well as the ability to operate MRI equipment safely and effectively.
Must have GE expereince.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and position patients for MRI scans while ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Operate MRI machines to capture high-quality images for diagnostic evaluation.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to discuss imaging results.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures performed.
- Adhere to aseptic techniques and safety protocols during all imaging procedures.
- Educate patients about the MRI process, answering any questions or concerns they may have.
- Perform routine maintenance on MRI equipment and report any malfunctions.
- Stay updated on advancements in medical imaging technology and techniques.
Skills
- Proficient in medical terminology related to imaging and diagnostics.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology to accurately interpret scan results.
- Familiarity with sonography techniques is beneficial.
- Ability to conduct diagnostic evaluations based on imaging findings.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients and healthcare teams.
- Attention to detail in following protocols and maintaining patient safety.
- Strong problem-solving skills for troubleshooting equipment issues.
