Leadership Responsibilities
- Lead millwright crews on industrial maintenance and installation projects
- Plan daily work activities and coordinate manpower, equipment, and materials
- Maintain job quality and ensure schedule compliance
- Communicate with project management and client representatives
- Identify and communicate potential change orders
- Complete daily reports and job documentation
- Mentor and coach craft employees in the field
- Promote safe work practices and maintain job site accountability
Technical Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial equipment
- Perform precision alignment on motors, pumps, gearboxes, and rotating equipment
- Conduct predictive and preventative maintenance
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematics
- Perform rigging, equipment setting, and mechanical assembly
- Complete emergency breakdown repairs as needed
- Perform field welding and fabrication
- Operate aerial lifts and powered industrial trucks
- Track labor and material usage to support project efficiency
Preferred Qualifications
- 5 years of industrial millwright experience
- Previous foreman or crew leadership experience preferred
- Experience leading shutdowns and maintenance projects
- Welding and fabrication experience preferred
- Precision alignment experience preferred
- OSHA 30 preferred
- NCCER or trade certification a plus
- Certified rigging and signal person preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lead crews while remaining hands-on in the field
