We pride ourselves on combining professionalism and innovation to exceed client expectations. Beyond our services, IMG is committed to uplifting underserved communities through meaningful job creation and fostering long-term growth. Our trusted partnerships include respected institutions such as Case Western Reserve University and Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse, reflecting our dedication to excellence and community impact.
Role Description
IMG is seeking a Sales Intern to support business development by monitoring HubSpot activity, tracking buyer-intent signals, and following up with prospective customers who have already engaged with the company through its website or related inbound activity. Rather than relying on high-volume cold calling, this role is built around timely, organized follow-up with warmer opportunities and disciplined CRM management. It is a strong fit for someone who wants hands-on experience in sales operations, lead management, and early-stage pipeline support.
Core Responsibilities
- Monitor HubSpot daily for form submissions, website activity, email engagement, and other lead signals.
- Track website traffic and identify prospects or companies showing meaningful buying interest.
- Follow up promptly with warm leads through email, phone, and other approved channels.
- Qualify interest, gather key details, and route viable opportunities to leadership.
- Keep HubSpot records clean and current, including contact notes, next steps, and status updates.
- Support meeting scheduling, follow-up reminders, and light nurture outreach.
- Help organize simple reporting around response time, lead source, and conversion activity.
- Coordinate with leadership on which signals and website behaviors should trigger outreach.
- Assist with improving the inbound follow-up process to increase speed, consistency, and conversion.
Preferred Qualifications
- Interest in sales, business development, marketing, or customer success.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfort with learning and using HubSpot or other CRM systems.
- Highly organized with strong follow-through and task discipline.
- Professional presence when communicating with prospective clients.
- Self-starter who can manage recurring follow-up tasks without constant oversight.
- Some prior sales, customer-facing, or related industry experience is preferred. If site visits are part of the role, familiarity with janitorial, facilities, or service operations is helpful, though IMG can train the right candidate.
What Success Looks Like
- HubSpot signals are monitored consistently and acted on quickly.
- Warm leads receive timely, professional follow-up.
- CRM records stay accurate and useful for leadership review.
- Website-generated interest turns into more qualified conversations and scheduled meetings.
