Job Summary: We are seeking dedicated and dynamic elementary teachers to join our team. The ideal candidate will foster a positive and respectful classroom environment, deliver engaging instruction aligned with Catholic values, and support the diverse needs of all learners.
Education Required: Bachelor's degree
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain a classroom culture where students feel safe, respected, and empowered to learn.
- Plan and implement creative, standards-based lessons that integrate Catholic teachings and reflect best practices in education.
- Differentiate instruction to support a variety of learning styles, needs, and backgrounds.
- Use formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress and provide timely feedback to students and families.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to ensure a focused and productive learning environment.
- Utilize technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
- Promote critical thinking and problem-solving through hands-on, enriching learning experiences.
- Maintain accurate records, including grades and attendance, using the PowerSchool system.
- Complete required classroom documentation, such as daily notes and attendance reports.
- Participate actively in staff meetings, professional development, and school-wide initiatives.
- Serve as a faith-filled role model who encourages a growth mindset and a love of learning.
- Demonstrate understanding of performance-based instruction and assessment.
- Communicate regularly and professionally with students, parents, colleagues, and school leadership.
- Exhibit excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
- Adapt readily to the needs of the classroom with patience, positivity, and a passion for working with children.
- Foster a diverse, equitable, and inclusive learning environment where all students feel seen and supported.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (required)
- Valid teaching certification (or eligibility) in Elementary Education (preferred)
- Experience in a classroom setting (preferred)
- Practicing Catholic or willingness to support the Catholic mission of the school
- Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills
All applicants need to complete Virtus training and will need to have NJ Department of Education fingerprinting before entering the classroom.
Should be a role-model of the Catholic faith's teachings including personal speech and behavior, and Mass attendance.
Pay commensurate with experience.
