Position Overview
Immaculate Conception is seeking a dynamic, dedicated Long-Term Substitute Teacher for Grades 5 and 6 to teach Math and Science beginning November 17, 2025, through the end of the school year. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a passion for teaching, strong classroom management skills, and the ability to create engaging lessons that foster curiosity and critical thinking.
Responsibilities
Plan and implement engaging Math and Science lessons aligned with school curriculum and standards.
Create a positive, structured, and faith-centered classroom environment.
Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
Assess student progress and provide timely feedback.
Collaborate with colleagues, administration, and families to support student success.
Participate in school life, including events and faith-based activities, as appropriate.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field required;
Valid teaching certification preferred.
Experience teaching upper elementary or middle school students strongly preferred.
Commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education.
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
