Duties
- Greet and seat guests promptly with a friendly demeanor.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently using a cash register or point-of-sale system.
- Ensure timely delivery of orders to guests while maintaining high standards of food safety.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and timely order preparation.
- Process cash handling transactions accurately, including handling tips as per company policy.
- Uphold restaurant policies and procedures regarding guest relations and services.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and cash register operation.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective guest interactions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
