The following lists the responsibilities and requirements of the Vault Cleaner position.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for cleaning and polishing stainless steel vaults, safe deposit boxes, night drops, drive up machines etc.
- Maintain clean working areas by sweeping, dusting, and vacuuming the designated work areas.
- Perform deep cleaning tasks and special projects.
- Proficiency with various types of hand and power tools.
- Maintain accuracy open and completed work tickets in application.
- Comfortable with signing and recording numbers by hand and making entries on records and preparing reports.
- Maintain a clean & safe work environment.
- Must be able to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with co-workers and customers, and to read receipts, manifests and reports.
Requirements & Skills
- Ability to maintain a stooped or squatting position for several minutes to perform some duties.
- Must be ok to stand on concrete floor for a good part of the shift.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Capability to count, add, subtract, and balance columns of numbers.
- Candidate should have excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel to Long Island and all 5 boroughs.
- Candidates should be experienced with vault cleanings, and willing and eager to learn new skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- A clean driver's license is required.
