Title of Position: Line Packer

Responsibilities:

• Pack high-quality parts (injection-molded plastic containers) and maintain required supplies at the designated machine (robot).
• Place labels in the machine (robot).
• Visually inspect finished goods for good quality.
• Communicate any issues with the designated machine or product to the Team Leader or a Technician.
• Pack finished product into boxes, and utilize a pallet jack to take the boxes to the warehouse.
• Complete a production report.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area.

Work Shift:

• Flexible work schedule with option for part-time or fulltime
• 11:45pm - 8:15am at $18.75 per hour.
• Minimum of 16 hours and up to 40 hours

Monday through Friday. No weekends! No mandatory overtime! $25 bi-weekly good attendance bonus and $0.25 hourly increase, after 60 days.

Education, Experience & Skills:

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Prior line packer experience preferred.
• Ability to read, analyze, and follow directions.
• Ability to speak, listen, and openly communicate with team members and actively participate in team meetings.
• Ability to work in a self-directed team environment.
• Ability to work in a fairly fast-paced production environment.
• Detail-oriented and well-organized with a demonstrated ability to multitask and work well under pressure.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift up to 40 lbs. on a frequent basis
• Push or pull with up to 50 lbs. of force on an occasional basis
• Stoop, kneel, climb or squat on an occasional basis
• Use hands to grip, pinch, handle, reach, or feel on a frequent basis
• Stand on a continuous basis and walk on a frequent basis
• Possess manual dexterity
