What are the responsibilities and job description for the Structural Steel Fitter position at IMI?

We are seeking a Structural Steel Fitter to become an integral part of our team! Submit your resume now for a quick response. Applicants will be required to take a weld and fit test based on experience.


Responsibilities:

  • Follow blueprints to meet product specifications
  • Calculate material measurements to verify specifications
  • Manufacture and fabricate finished metal products
  • Install and repair various equipment and components
  • Conduct tests to evaluate weld quality and tolerance
  • Stainless and/or aluminum skills would be a plus - not required

​Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in welding, manufacturing, or other related fields
  • Familiarity with welding tools and procedures
  • Familiarity with engineering blueprints and schematics
  • Ability to handle physical workload

Salary : $28 - $32
